integra logo

Integra manufacture, supply and install a variety of ‘off the shelf’, as well as custom designed water treatment dosing and analysis packages’ for the treatment of cooling towers, boilers and wastewater plants. These range from standalone controllers and pumps through to web-based remote monitored systems and fully integrated PLC controlled solutions.

Our dosing equipment utilises peristaltic self- priming pumps wherever practical (developed for the medical industry), avoiding “loss of prime” problems and the relatively high maintenance costs associated with traditional diaphragm pumps.

Integra manufacture a range of tailor made systems:

  • Multi-tower controllers and dosing pump skids (up to 4 towers from one system)
  • Bag filter skids (multiple configuration options)
  • Side stream filtration using unique hydro-cyclone spin filters
  • Media-Filter skids
  • Zero Tolerance (integraZetol) remote monitored ORP dosing skids
  • Corrosion monitoring systems
  • Deposit monitoring systems

Chemical Water Treatment-Services

Integra’s team of specially trained technicians provides services to minimise risk of legionella and microbial growth, minimise scale formation, corrosion and fouling. Our staff will also work closely with the onsite staff to ensure risks are minimised whilst operating the assets as effective and efficiently as possible.

It is extremely important that the right chemical program is selected to effectively treat a cooling water system. The risks can be significant when dealing with control of legionella and bacteria which can proliferate when not managed correctly.

Integra provide electronic service reports at each service capable of being emailed whilst leaving hard copy of reports onsite to maintain council compliant log books.

Integra Water operates its own Chemical manufacturing facilities and produces a diverse and broad range of water treatment chemicals. These can be supplied in a variety of volumes from 10 litre containers through to bulk supply in 1000 litre IBC’s.

Steam Generating Boilers

Corrosion control in steam boilers is achieved by efficient chemical removal of dissolved oxygen from feed water and boiler water. A catalysed solution of sodium sulphite or blend of natural tannins is used. This reacts almost instantaneously with dissolved oxygen even at low temperatures. This rapid reaction provides greater protection to the boiler and pre-boiler section, especially where mechanical deaeration is not complete.

Closed loop condenser

Closed loop condenser circuits are monitored and serviced quarterly.

Heating and chilled water systems

Closed recirculating water systems are found in a variety of commercial and industrial facilities. These systems can be used for either heating (hot water loop) or cooling(chilled water loop) or closed condenser water loops.

Most common problems associated with closed loop systems are corrosion, fouling as a result of corrosion by-products and the build-up over time of dirt from the makeup water and potentially microbial growth. Scaling and or deposition are unlikely as make up water rates are low and the absence of evaporation limits hardness salts and other impurities to the level of the makeup water.

The build-up of dirt in the system will lead to erosion and under-deposit corrosion, while bacteria growth can lead to loss of corrosion inhibitor, pH excursions or loss of heat transfer as a result of slime growth.
